The Ames Hotel

My friend Adrienne and I

I met up with some friends in Woodward restaurant at the Ames Hotel on Court Street, I was impressed! had a grand entrance when I first walked in. I was welcomed by my friend Rick Russo

and a smiley gentleman I believe was a manager. One of the two beautiful hostesses near by walked us to our table after a couple of minutes waiting... Although, that was kind of ackward standing there waiting wasn't sure what was happening and didn't understand why we were waiting for so long hahaha. Continuing, passing through the bar the crowd felt content but very talkative. Once we got upstairs the talkativeness did not quiet down it actually increased with other sounds like dishes, glasses and silverwear clattering. Once we sat down ofcourse I chose to seat at the most comfortable chair which looked like a modern booth, which I love because it makes me sit up straight. Rick seemed to be comfortable as well sitting straight up on his contempo side chair. The waitress was gorgeous and had a basic knowledge of what was on the menu. I odered a glass of Zinfandel while waiting for our third guest, my friend Adrienne Gum, her and I go way back but lost touch in between. This was the first time meeting her after almost 3 years. Although she was fashionably late lol I fogive her j/k I was just happy it wasn't me that was late this time hehehe. It was great seeing her after so long. :)

Wishing...!

I back-handed one of the empty wine glass off the table to tiny and long sharp pieces ACCIDENTALLY haha. Made a huge scene! Was a bit embarrassed at first then got over it real quick. As I'm chattering my lips off to my friends about Moscow or what not I happened to look down at my skinny ass thighs I saw a slightly shiny object extremely close to my thighs decided to pick it up with a tight grip and instantly felt a stabbing pain in my index and thumb rapidly pull my hand up and there it was, a long piece of glass stuck in between my thumb and my index finger. Out of nowhere, I bursted into tears like a 4 year old...lol. Its something about blood dripping profusively makes me cry like a shy child lol.

Blood for dinner!

Aaaaah!!!!!!!!!!

After Adrienne finally arrived...lol we odered. We both liked the description of the house-cured salmon but wasn't what we were expecting. It looked delicious wasn't too bad but it wasn't the taste I was looking for, I was expecting a nice fillet of salmon for dinner, it was on the "dinner menu" but it was more like a sashimi plate with pita bread. Rick was smart ordered the gnoccis, that looked yummie but very small portion for the price if you ask me. It was also not what we were expecting to see. It was gnoccis in a broth serve in a lasagna serving platter, not sure the name of the platter. That's not the point lol. I did managed to finish my plate!

So Good!

Since my birthday is coming up in less than two weeks Rick surprised me with a fudge sundae with a candle on top it was so lovely! It was even better after finishing that wonderful sundae, I realized no one sang the happy birthday song, thank goodness lol gosh I hate that song! Toooooo embarassing. I sure enjoyed that sundae!! it was delicious! It was worth every calories in that massive bowl of goodies lol. Hope to burn that up tomorrow with a nice walk on the common... Oh yeah I will! I have a date with a 19 year old tomorrow, fun! Going for a walk on the common Princeton will be joining us for sure also my girl Elizabeth with her pet long-haired chihuahua Scoopy so freaking cute! Guessing that's another story for a new post.

Overall my Experience at the woodward restaurant in the Ames Hotel was pretty cool! Thanks to Rick for a great pre-birthday experience! Cool choice! It was a wonderful night! Put me in a great mood after! Thanks Adrienne for the ride home!

Lounging...

Will add pictures later... Need to get a charger for my new "lost and found" camera.
It wasn't me who found the sony touch screen camera off the street in Chelsea, my friend did but gifted it to me because he doesn't want a second camera plus my bday is coming up)). All I gotta say about that though is "Finder's keeper" bitch...lol

Gnite!
